“Medor” Foundation, with the head office in Zgierz, on 9th Urocza Street, registered in National Court Register under the number 0000226639, as a Public Benefit Organization, appeals to you for making donations.
“Medor” was funded by a group of volunteers who saw a problem not noticed by any public administration office; homeless animals. Even thought, Zgierz is a town with social problems and poverty, some people took care of those poor animals and tried to solve this issue.
We leased a ground from the city, we provided infrastructure and started to build a shelter. About 1 hectare area was fenced off, a few cubicles and kennels for dogs were built. We also built a special place for cats. We started major repairs to the building, where the kitchen, solitary, utility room should be placed. Whole this investment was financed by private funds. So far we’ve adopted 263 dogs and 143 cats. 241 female dogs and cats were sterile.
Our shelter is opened from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm.
We don’t get any donation from the city authorities!
